I partner with families and couples to promote understanding, increase connection, and cultivate inner and relational security.

Family Therapy

I support families with children of all ages who are impacted by a variety of life situations including trauma, divorce/separation, loss, substance abuse, and mental health diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, ASD and ADHD. I have received certification and training in modalities that assist with healing attachment wounds in the family system so that families feel united in facing life’s challenges together. We are all wired to love and care for others. Modern pressures and attachment ruptures can impact a family’s capacity to connect and communicate. I also assist families with navigating systems of care, such as school, Regional Center and insurance, to get appropriate developmental and mental health evaluation and services for their child.

EFT Couples Therapy

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an evidenced-based couples therapy to restore connection, communication and security in the relationship. You will learn to identify and familiarize yourselves with the negative interaction pattern in your relationship and practice new interactions to promote a sense of security and trust in being vulnerable and close with each other. EFT is a useful modality for couples in distress, feeling intense negative emotions or who have difficulty expressing emotions. As an EFT therapist, I am engaged and directive to support you in having a secure attachment..

I currently provide services via private pay, 150 per session. I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance.

When we feel generally secure, that is, we are comfortable with closeness and confident about depending on loved ones, we are better at seeking support - and better at giving it.
